FBT's track record has been pretty bad so far in judging the market place. Their streaming video product was supposed to have had a major competitive advantage due to the slow take up of broadband. People and companies were going to be flocking to FBT so that they could watch video over slow dialup. Of course we know that history turned out to be nothing like that. The reality was that NO ONE used FBT's streaming product as can be witnessed by their lack of turnover. It was £600 in one period! Even their latest figure is only £17,000 turnover.
If the above view from FBT is accepted then their competitive advantage has now gone with more than 50% of internet connections being broadband. Video streaming has been and continues tobe dominated by mpeg-4 format video. This is due to quality and features. Over broadband it can produce images at full screen similar to a TV.
Clesh looks to me like being another complete failure. There are hundreds of FREE web sites that can host your video clips. Why pay FBT? Why use poorer quality streaming video?
