There are some very qualified engineers on the other site and, true, they have got carried away with the brilliance of the engineering, but, brilliance and profitable commercial reality are poles apart at the moment. However, the first deal has been struck albeit in very limited capacity which does mean that the writhing continues.
I am not expecting any motor deal before the Autumn of this year. I do not believe that there has been any orchestration of the sp to allow DE to buy shares. The concern I have is that with DE having bought shares, does it mean that the "off-road" deal is now not going to go ahead?
The speculation some time ago was for a new licencee to be announced - my guess was for JCB. I believe that this has now cooled off and the sp is likely to languish at current price for a few months.
