On the whole seeing buying by Directors is better than seeing selling, but both buys are piffling and gives the message 'not much liklihood of solid news for at least three months'. I would be more reassured by these gentlemen remortgaging their homes and buying 500k a piece. That would underline 'When not If' and the more recent 'WILL' from RJ. One might then feel that members of the Board were actually carrying a little bit of risk, rather than picking up a salary cheque each month. As we come to the end of 2005, after 7 years and about £45million the company has finally managed to get a garden machinery company to go to production in a joint venture, this hopefully will at least keep the company going. But plainly the rate of progress grinds slowly in the world of mechanical engineering. By now I think we will have learnt not to expect anything from the Detroit show and are unlikely to see anything for at least another 12 months until 2008 beckons with its new Euro regs.
