Perhaps they have one eye on ebay's customer base.
Ebay have had it all their own way for too long - reflected in their charges.
(I have to say they do provide a good service)
The more Google and their kin push services that overlap with what Forbidden can do - the greater the chance Forbidden's product profile should gain prominence.
I don't think Google will be knocking on Forbidden's door - they seem to be committed to products from their own stable as much as possible. Unless a major customer locks a company like Forbidden in - the risk is that any advantage would be lost if Forbidden decided to license their products to a competitor.
What then does a company like Google gain by adopting a technology like Clesh / FORscene.
We investors can but hope that Google - or a competitor - will see sense though!
I'm confident it will pay dividends for any adoptor.
Here's part of a video I shot of a trip up north:
It was simplicity to film it on my mobile, upload the raw footage, edit it, then publish it. I emailed the full result to relatives / friends in the UK and beyond using just a URL. They can view it also via mobile phones with Java MIDP (small picture and no sound - but the sub titles do the job) or a smart phone (with sound and larger pictures).
The quality is below what this version of FORscene is capable of. If I had used a Nokia N90 the quality would be much better.
Regards and happy new year to all!
