2005, a pivotal year for Axis-Shield, with strong growth and profitability

Briano...Thank you for the acknowledgement. CLIA waiver is perhaps then best described as essential to ultimate 'US' success, as it more than doubles the potential market to over 100,000 sites (placements could, as indicated, be more that one per site at certain locations). As even my limited knowledge appears to indicate that Afinion will go way beyond appealing to just CLIA waived sites, and as I mentioned earlier, with automatic calibration/built in QC, then it should appeal to a much wider audience. Btw I would not discount the 'initial' Afinion factor as being felt that far out.
Hvs...A warm welcome to you. May your timing/entry reward you ahead of the patience that should ultimately reward you proper.
Mahamamsa...You are welcome, and I hope it serves a useful purpose, as I remember being clueless regarding these things, although I am far from an expert on the subject.
One other point regarding ASD scale up issues, they entered this phase not being remotely experienced mechanically, and Svein, at the analysts meeting, now also describes themselves as experts in the mechanical field, bodes well going forwards, given the exponential growth in POCT and the subsequent devices required............another string to our bow in product development and manufacture? We do indeed look an attractive partner of choice, and hopefully not a target at these sp levels and arguably still early phase in development.
Best regards to all, wan
