Anyway your case/elements against ASD appears centred around Abbott and an as yet undecided opinion on Afinion., yet you acknowledge that growth will be outstanding. Well perhaps my optimism regarding Afinion is better and more simply described by NycoCards success, because NycoCard is best described as a true manual test and is recognised as being a bit time consuming etc, so what made it so successful and ‘continues’ to make it so successful compared to say Glycosal? In my opinion, it is the fact that it offers multi-assay, ASD must have recognised this from both existing users and indeed ‘consulted user groups’ in the development of Afinion.
