Some activity today ? 20K shares bought / sold anybody know anything going on here ?

What happened to this company? I’m still holding a good number of shares. I thought they would eventually take off or get bought out. I used their soil amendment and I was impressed. When I tried to buy more, I couldn’t find it or reach anyone at the company. Anyone have any concrete info on what happened and if there is still any hope?

You may have to go to a Canadian Exchange? Not sure, just a guess.

I just tried to place a sell order for GLEC with Merrill Lynch and the rep told me that ML has this "blocked" and will not trade it. They said there is a LPS1 on it whatever that means. The rep said in order to sell the shares I would need to find a brokerage firm that would take the shares from ML and then sell them for me. Does anyone know any firms that would sell my shares of GLEC ?

Good question.... I have not asked about buying... just selling. But I've seen shares being bought / sold over the past few months every once in a while.
I'm afraid I'm done buying these days !

Yes, If I call Merrill and talk to a broker they can sell my shares... I can't do it online via their website. Probably because of the share price. But they are still active on the ML website.... showing a huge loss of course ! LOL

The problem I have is that I can't sell any shares online (Merrill Lynch) because of the share price. I have to call them and place an order over the phone and then it has to get "reviewed and approved" by who knows. When will the share price and stock be able to trade again online ? Does GLEC have to file something with the SEC to bring them up to some level or ?? Any insight to this would be appreciated ! I'm a long term investor...

I'd say 10,000 shares a week maximum is what needs to deploy into the market until somebody big, hopefully a mutual fund, ETF or an institution starts learning the story and buying up the shares. Bottom line, we need shareholders and new investors to line up on the buy side if us long-term investors are going to be able to pull some money out without destroying the market cap and Diving the price down. It's going to be important for us to analyze and manage the buying side and get that going before people start to overwhelm the sell side and we lose our opportunity. What are your thoughts?

I totally agree. If any of us decide to get greedy and dump a massive amount of shares on the market then we're going to drive that share price down to zero. We really have to make sure that us, as a group, nibbles at the sale orders and try to make the price increase as opposed to killing the stock. I know a couple of us had talked about it but I hope the other big shareholders will agree to do that as well.

Timing, who knows. My concern is will there be enough volume for everyone to unload enough shares to make it worth it. Not just dump them all at once of course.

TB, what's your guesstimate of when this thing flips?, I'm glad I bought this months ago here in the US before it went expert market. I tried to buy more but funds did not clear, next day went EM.

$2 bucks a share if a merger happens with a billion dollar company, imagine if its a $10 billion dollar private company.
