Similar to previous years, a massive G-SHOCK watch will be displayed on the popular Huntington Beach Pier to provide competitors and judges the official time for the full, nine-day competition. This timepiece has become an iconic mainstay and a beacon of toughness during the competition.

G-SHOCK will host a booth onsite, serving as a place for product displays, games and meet and greets from athletes. Guests will also be invited to take part in the crowd-pleasing G-SHOCK "Tough Toss Game," where they'll experience the unique toughness and water-resistance capabilities of G-SHOCK watches by throwing them into containers of water for a chance to win prizes. G-SHOCK surfer, Yadin Nicol and BABY-G skateboarder Lizzie Armanto will visit the booth to sign autographs on Thursday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively and on Friday, July 29 at 12:00 p.m., G-SHOCK skateboarder Kevin Hoefler will be signing autographs. Other athletes representing G-SHOCK at the competition include Adriano de Souza, Alejo Muniz, Lucas Silviera, Kanoa Igarashi, Pedro Barros, and Malia Manuel (BABY-G).

The G-SHOCK booth will also feature recent models on display from the Master of G and G-STEEL series, as well as the new White Out and G-LIDE collections including the new limited edition collaboration watches with In4mation and Illest. Also included will be the S-Series Pink, Cool White and Military collections, and the BABY-G Tri-Color and Whale collections.

About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up." www.gshock.com
