General Motors Co. (GM) and PSA Peugeot Citroen (UG.FR), which formed a strategic alliance this year, have halted talks on a full combination of Peugeot and GM's Opel unit, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Reuters reported that "misgivings" about Peugeot's financial condition and a government bailout were factors in a "pause" of discussions.
