Euro Recovers Some Recent Losses Amid Draghi's Comments

The euro recouped some of its recent losses against most of its major opponents amid the European Central Bank chief Mario Draghi's post-rate comments.

The common currency climbed to 1.3174 against the dollar, up from a 2-week low of 1.3097 hit around 8:30 am ET.

The euro advanced to 0.8139 against the pound around 9:00 am ET, up from nearly a 2-year low of 0.8105 hit just ahead of commencing the press-briefing.

The single currency also advanced above 106.0 against the yen, up from 105.34 hit in the Asian session.
