Ahead of the European session on Thursday, the U.S. dollar edged up against its European major counterparts.

The greenback advanced to 0.9150 against the franc, 1.6173 against the pound and 1.3137 against the euro with 0.92, 1.61 and 1.312 seen as the next upside target levels, respectively.
