Amid the release of Switzerland's SVME manufacturing PMI for April at 3:30 am ET Wednesday, the franc showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the franc slipped against the euro, it changed little against the rest of major currencies.

The franc is now trading at 0.9089 against the greenback, 88.59 against the yen, 1.4751 against the pound and 1.2022 against the euro.
