The U.S. dollar was weaker against the Canadian dollar during the Asian session on Thursday. The greenback fell to a new 7-month low of 0.9824 against the loonie at 1:00 am ET with 0.975 seen as the next downside target level. At Wednesday's close, the pair was worth 0.9836.
