 During New York afternoon trading on Wednesday, the Swiss franc edged down against major currencies. The franc declined further against its US and British counterparts in today's afternoon session and currently trading near 0.9175 and 1.4595, respectively. The Swiss currency that hit a 2-day high of 1.2010 versus the euro by about 12:15 pm ET edged down thereafter in afternoon trading today. Presently, the pair is trading at 1.2020. The Swiss franc also showed weakness against the Japanese yen during New York afternoon session and as of now worth 88.30 from early high of 88.82.
