In early deals on Wednesday, the Indian currency fell sharply against the U.S. dollar. The rupee reached near a 3-month low of 51.645 against the greenback, compared to yesterday's close of 51.105. Presently, the rupee is trading at 51.5955 against the greenback with 52.5 seen as the next downside target level.
