 The Canadian dollar extended its recent slide against its major rivals on Tuesday morning in New York. The loonie fell below the 1.0040 level against the greenback for the first time since February 27 and hit a weekly low of 1.3148 against the euro around 10:35 am ET. Against the yen, the loonie was trading at a 5-week low of 80.65 around the same time. The next likely support levels for the Canadian currency are seen at 1.32 against the euro, 80.50 versus the yen and 1.0055 against the US dollar.
