 UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) Tuesday confirmed Dieter Rampl's intention to resign as chairman of the Italian bank, saying he would step down on April 19.
UniCredit, which reported fourth-quarter results earlier in the day, said in a statement Rampl would keep representing the bank on the board of Mediobanca (MB.MI), a smaller Italian bank in which UniCredit has a stake.
