The Indian rupee weakened against the U.S. dollar in early deals on Monday. The rupee that closed Friday's deals at 49.515 against the greenback touched a new multi-week low of 49.8112. The rupee is now trading at 49.775 against the greenback with 50.00 seen as the next downside target level.
