Extending its previous session's uptrend, the European single currency traded further higher against its Canadian counterpart in New York afternoon deals on Thursday. The euro jumped to near a 2-month high of 1.3331 versus the loonie at around 1:30 pm ET, compared to 1.3251 hit late New York Wednesday. Presently, the euro-loonie pair is trading near 1.3318.
