London Stock Exchange, Google Sign Real-Time Data Pact

London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSE.LN) said Tuesday it has signed a data license agreement with Google Inc. (GOOG) to allow it to distribute real-time 'last trade price' data free of charge.

MAIN FACTS:

-Users of Google will be able to access London Stock Exchange and Borsa Italiana real-time trading data that was previously only available with a 15-minute delay.

-Service on Google will give users who don't currently have access to real-time Group data, for the first time a selection of Level 1 trading data.

-London Stock Exchange shares at 1015 GMT down 10 pence, or 1%, at 940.5 pence valuing the company at GBP2.58 billion.
