The US dollar staged a sharp fall against major rivals during New York mid-day trading on Thursday. At 11:35 am ET, the greenback fell to 0.9230 against the Swiss franc, 1.3086 versus the euro, 1.5784 against the pound, 0.9976 against the loonie and .0747 versus the Australian dollar.



NYSE and AMEX quotes are delayed by at least 20 minutes.
