NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

The Directors of Copper Development Corporation (AIM: CDC), have been notified on 6 January 2011 that Senator Sidecar Master Fund LP ("Senator Sidecar Master Fund") acquired a beneficial interest in an additional 9 571,427 ordinary shares in the Company on 5 January 2011. This brings the total holding of Senator Sidecar Master Fund to 45,319,998 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 20.15% of the issued ordinary shares.
