The purpose of this letter is to comply with the requirements of current regulations and to inform that the Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on May 10, 2016, approved the issuance and placement of negotiable obligations for an amount of up to USD 1,000,000,000 or its equivalent in other currencies, in one or more classes and/or series under the Company's USD 10,000,000,000 Global Medium Term Notes Program, which was approved by the General Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting held on April 29, 2016.
