Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate
Change (COP21), which will take place
in the French capital from November 30 to

On the first day of COP21, 20 of
the world's largest nations pledged to double the funds for clean
energy research to a total of $20

and major emitters, oil and gas producers, and leaders in clean
