Rosneft, Eni To Sign Arctic Oil, Gas Deal - Reuters

LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Italy's Eni SpA (E) and Russia's Rosneft (ROSN.RS) are expected Wednesday to sign an agreement to jointly explore Russian offshore oil and gas deposits in the Arctic and Black Sea, the Reuters news agency reports, citing industry sources. The agreement will be modeled on a recent deal between Rosneft and Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM), Reuters says, meaning the Russian company will have access to projects controlled by Eni.
