has joined XL Catlin's Global Excess Casualty team in Dallas as Underwriting Manager, reporting to
Maria T. Miramontes, Regional Excess
Casualty Manager.

Ms. Carpenter joins XL Catlin from Swiss Re where she most
recently served as Vice President and Senior Underwriter, managing
a book of lead umbrella and excess casualty programs for large US
corporate accounts. Prior to her tenure with Swiss Re, she
held casualty underwriting positions with AIG in both Dallas and Boston. Ms. Carpenter began
her career with The Hartford. She earned her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Business Administration/Insurance from the University of North Texas.
