Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
The following information is being furnished under Item 7.01, "Regulation FD Disclosure." On XL Group plc’s (the “Company” or “XL”) third quarter 2015 earnings conference call held on October 26, 2015, the Company stated that it would provide an estimate of its fourth quarter 2015 integration costs associated with its May 1, 2015 acquisition of Catlin Group Limited (“Catlin”) prior to its fourth quarter 2015 earnings conference call, which is scheduled for February 4, 2016. On January 21, 2016, the Company announced that it estimates that the Catlin integration costs for the fourth quarter of 2015 will be approximately $75 million. In addition, on January 21, 2016 the Company posted to its website a presentation of supplemental estimated historical unaudited combined financial data for the Company and Catlin for the six months ended December 31, 2014.
