Item 8.01 Other Events

On May 20, 2016, Worthington Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Geoff G. Gilmore, who currently serves as President of The Worthington Steel Company (the Steel Processing operations of the Company), has been named President of Worthington Cylinder Corporation (the Pressure Cylinders operations of the Company), effective June 1, 2016, and that John G. Lamprinakos, who currently serves as President of Worthington Industries Engineered Cabs, will become President of The Worthington Steel Company, also effective June 1, 2016.  In the announcement, the Company said that a leader for Worthington Industries Engineered Cabs will be named in the near future.

A copy of the news release issued by the Company on May 20, 2016, to announce the leadership moves related to the positions of President of The Worthington Steel Company and President of Worthington Cylinder Corporation is included with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
