Facebook Inc. (FB) chief executive Mark Zuckerberg and his senior management team will meet with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) executives this week to discuss bolstering their relationship, Reuters reported Thursday citing the companies. The plan includes Wal-Mart chief executive Mike Duke on Friday meeting the Facebook team, and Mr. Zuckerberg and Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg addressing the retail giant's staff at its corporate office at Bentonville, Ark., on Saturday, according to Reuters. Facebook, in a statement, said it was keen to "deepen" its relationship with Wal-Mart, Reuters reported. "We appreciate and value the ongoing strategic partnership we have with Facebook," Wal-Mart said in a statement, according to Reuters. "Their help and support with testing new and innovative products and technologies to reach our customers has been invaluable."
