Industry veteran Robert Jones joins to help
expand service for agribusiness sector
Wells Fargo Securities, the investment banking and capital
markets business of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:
WFC), announced today Robert Jones has joined its Global Exchange
Traded Services group as managing director, Agribusiness Listed
Derivatives Sales & Execution, to expand the FCM for the
agribusiness sector globally. He is based in Chicago and reports to
Jeff Gore, head of Listed Derivatives Sales & Execution.
“Robert’s career spans an extensive 38 years in agriculture
commodities,” said Gore. “He joins an already strong team of
professionals, bringing with him deep institutional knowledge of
this industry and its financial needs, which is essential to the
growth of our FCM. As one of the largest lenders to the
agribusiness sector, we continue to invest in our business so that
we can serve the needs of our commercial, corporate and

Jones was formerly the senior vice president of an agricultural
commodity broker group for ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, LLC. He
currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Commodity
Markets Council and on the Risk Management Committee for National
Grain & Feed Association. He began his career in 1978 for Gold
Kist Inc., where he was a cash grain merchandiser. Jones moved to
Chicago in 1982 to begin his career as a commodity broker working
on the CBOT trading floor.
