DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Verizon Wireless will launch its Share Everything Plans on June 28, allowing subscribers to cover up to 10 devices under one wireless-service contract starting at $50 a month. The joint venture of Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) and Vodafone Group PLC (VOD, VOD.LN) said all of its Share Everything Plans include unlimited voice minutes, unlimited text, video and picture messaging, and Mobile Hotspot service. The monthly data allowances start at one gigabyte for $50 a month and range up to eight gigabytes for $90 a month. There will be no fee or contract extension for current subscribers to move to the new plans. Wireless carriers are facing increased capital budgets as they race to handle surging data traffic, just as maturing industry penetration and more competitors offering the Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhone begin to dent revenue growth. AT&T Inc. (T) was the first U.S. carrier to limit users' data consumption when it set tiered pricing plans in 2010. Verizon Wireless currently offers a 2-gigabyte data plan for $30 monthly, and 5 gigabytes for $50 monthly. Meanwhile, Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) and T-Mobile USA still offer unlimited data plans.
