DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc.'s (VRX) buying spree continued Monday with the planned $180 million purchase of Natur Produkt International JSC, a Russian company which markets over-the-counter pharmaceuticals such as cough and cold remedies under the Natur Prodkt brand. Mississagua, Ont.-based Valeant said Natur Product generated about $65 million in revenue last year and is expected to deliver double-digit growth this year. It sees the purchase adding immediately to Valeant's earnings. The price may include an additional $5 million in potential future milestones. Earlier this month Valeant said it was acquiring, from Austria's Gerot Lannach, certain branded generics assets that generate the bulk of their sales in Russia.
