Valero Reports Unit Disruption at Port Arthur, Texas, Refinery

Valero Energy Corp. reported an operational snag Thursday at its
refinery in Port Arthur, Texas.
The refinery said the "process unit upset" also led to emissions
of sulfur dioxide and other gases that began Thursday morning and
lasted less than two hours, according to a statement it sent to the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
The 335,000-barrel-a-day refinery is located east of
Houston.
