Wireless Carrier To Contribute $25,000 to Both the National 4-H Council and Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Support Youth Initiatives in Select Cities

To celebrate the holiday charitable season, U.S. Cellular today announced its Future of Good campaign that champions and invests in youth who are doing good in their communities by supporting their causes and increasing their impact. As a way to pay it forward, U.S. Cellular will help amplify each child’s reach and inspire others to join in building the Future of Good, in communities across America.

The wireless carrier is encouraging consumers to get involved in the Future of Good by uploading a photo to the “Gallery of Good” on futureofgood.com. For every photo submitted between December 3 and 31, U.S. Cellular will contribute $2.50 each, to the National 4-H Council and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, up to $25,000 each.

“At U.S. Cellular we take great pride in supporting youth in our local communities,” said Grant Leech, vice president of Brand Management at U.S. Cellular. “We’re thrilled to launch the Future of Good during the season of giving and we encourage everyone across America to join our movement by giving back in their own communities.”

U.S. Cellular selected three youth, who are doing extraordinary acts of good in their communities, and will help promote and support their respective causes. Their stories will be captured in documentary-style videos and released throughout December.
