Olympic Games, announced a nationwide promotion for new FlexPerks
Travel Rewards Visa Cardmembers issued by U.S. Bank. The promotion
runs in the United States from Aug. 1, 2016, through Sept. 3,
2016.

In the spirit of the Olympic Games, new FlexPerks Travel Rewards
Visa Signature® and FlexPerks Business EdgeTM Travel Rewards Visa
Cardmembers who apply during the promotion and get approved can
earn bonus FlexPoints based on the number of medals that Team USA
takes home from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
New FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Cardmembers will earn 200
FlexPoints for every Gold Medal, 100 FlexPoints for every Silver
Medal, and 50 FlexPoints for every Bronze Medal that Team USA wins
during the Olympic Games. Plus, all bonus FlexPoints earned are in
addition to the 20,000 Enrollment Bonus FlexPoints Cardmembers
receive when they spend $2,000 within the first four months after
their account is opened.
Celebrating its 30th year of sponsorship of the Olympics, Visa
is the exclusive payment services provider for the Rio 2016 Olympic
and Paralympic Games and will implement 4,000 NFC-enabled POS
terminals capable of accepting mobile and wearable payments across
key Olympic venues, the USOC’s USA House and Copacabana Megastore.
Visa is the only card accepted at Olympic Games venues through
2020, which includes the PyeongChang 2018 and the Tokyo 2020
Olympic Games.
