U.S. Bank Customers can Redeem Credit Card Rewards Points for Cash Donations to Honor Flight Through Nov. 20

In recognition of Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11, U.S. Bank is partnering with Honor Flight, a nonprofit organization, to help send veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit war memorials. Through Nov. 20, U.S. Bank customers can redeem their credit card rewards points for cash donations to Honor Flight.

Many U.S. Bank credit card products that offer point rewards are eligible. Customers can log into online banking or account access and click on the rewards links to get to the Rewards Center, where they will see the Honor Flight information. Bank Brand Consumer Cash Rewards, U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature® Card and U.S. Bank Business Edge™ Cash Rewards Card products are not eligible.

“We are privileged to partner with U.S. Bank to achieve our organization’s mission to bring our veterans to their memorials where they can reflect and make connections with other veterans,” Jim McLaughlin, chairman of Honor Flight. “These donations will have a very large impact on many veterans across the country, who provided service and sacrifice for our freedom.”

In addition to this program, U.S. Bank has partnered on several other initiatives with Honor Flight. During the next two months, U.S. Bank employee volunteers will greet veterans returning home from Honor Flight visits to Washington, D.C. Events are currently planned for Nov. 5 in Reno, Nev. and Oct. 27 in Southeast Wisconsin.
