Donations will go to United Way in Douglas County in support of UCC victims

U.S. Bank has opened an account for donations to the Greater Douglas United Way in Roseburg, Ore., in support of victims of the recent tragedy at Umpqua Community College (UCC). In addition, U.S. Bank has made a $25,000 contribution to the Greater Douglas United Way.

“This tragedy has had an enormous impact on our community, and it has been immediately clear that we all want to do what’s right to support the families that are dealing with an inordinate amount of pain and loss right now,” said Dan LaCoste, regional president for U.S. Bank in the west community region of Oregon. “We are grateful to be part of this community where everyone cares deeply and stands united, ready to help as the healing process begins.”

U.S. Bank is the largest bank in Oregon, with three branches in Roseburg. Contributions can be made through any U.S. Bank branch nationwide, under the account name, “Greater Douglas United Way Roseburg UCC Relief Fund.”
