-- Apache Corp., a Houston-based energy company, tapped Stephen
Riney as chief financial officer. He was previously CFO of BP PLC's
exploration and production operations.
-- U.S. Bancorp, the Minneapolis-based holding company for U.S.
Bank, named Kathy Rogers, previously an executive vice president at
the company, as CFO. She succeeds Andrew Cecere, who was named
chief operating officer.
-- West Marine Inc., a Watsonville, Calif., boating supplies and
accessories retailer, said CFO Thomas Moran is leaving the company.
It named Deborah Ajeska, divisional vice president and controller,
as principal financial officer. The company said it will search for
a new CFO.
-- Tribune Publishing Co., a Chicago-based newspaper publisher,
appointed Sandra Martin, a senior vice president of corporate
finance and investor relations at the company, as interim CFO. She
succeeds CFO John Bode, who is leaving the company.
