Netspend Hires Jeff Johnson to Lead Commercial Prepaid

Netspend, a leading provider of prepaid card solutions, has
named Jeff Johnson as senior vice president for Commercial Prepaid.
Johnson joins Netspend with two decades of experience in the
prepaid industry, having most recently served as chief sales and
marketing officer/chief revenue officer for Card Compliant, LLC,
since 2012. “We’re excited to have Jeff on the team. He’s a proven
entrepreneur with an impressive record of growing and scaling
payments businesses,” said Chuck Harris, president of Netspend.
Before assuming a leadership role at Card Compliant, Johnson
worked as the senior vice president and division manager for
Prepaid Services at First Data Corporation. Throughout his career,
he has worked to innovate products, expand revenue and manage costs
while maintaining strong industry relationships. He has also served
on the board of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association for
the last five years.
At Netspend, Johnson will manage the company’s Commercial
Prepaid channel, which offers an array of business solutions. These
include paycard programs, which allow businesses and employees to
save time and money by eliminating paper checks, as well as
incentive, disbursement and award programs. He will also oversee
the Tip Network, which helps tip-based businesses move away from
checkout slips and cash envelopes to a more streamlined system.

Johnson earned a bachelor's degree of Business Administration
from Thomas More College. He will be based at Netspend’s office in
