Trina Solar said it swung to a profit in its fourth quarter,
bolstered by a surge in revenue and a drop in operating expenses.
The Chinese solar company said it shipped 770.1 megawatts in solar
modules, an 86% jump from the year-ago quarter, but a decline of
less than 1% from the third quarter. Trina had projected between

BP said Tuesday that it would create a new business to manage
its onshore oil and natural-gas assets in the U.S.'s lower 48

BP--along with other large oil companies--has had trying to coax
profits from the North American shale boom. Shares edged up 0.7% to
$49.34.
Cartica Capital on Tuesday said it delivered a letter to
CorpBanca SA's (BCA, CORPBANCA.SN) board, urging the Chilean lender
