Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP announces that it is investigating potential claims on behalf of investors of Trinity Industries, Inc. (“Trinity” or the “Company”) (NYSE: TRN) concerning the Company’s and its officers’ possible violations of federal securities laws. Glancy Binkow & Goldberg is preparing a class action to recover damages on behalf of injured Trinity shareholders.

Trinity’s ET-Plus guardrail system has been implicated in several roadside injuries and deaths. Reports of at least eight deaths connected to Trinity’s guardrail led to multiple investigations into the safety of the system, including crash tests conducted by the Federal Highway Administration (“FHWA”). On April 21, 2015 it came to light that Trinity is being investigated for potentially bribing or otherwise corrupting the FHWA inquiry into the safety of the ET-Plus system. According to a report published by Bloomberg News, “federal investigators are interviewing potential witnesses about issues including Trinity’s relationship with the FHWA, according to these people. Investigators from a public corruption and special prosecutions unit of the Justice Department have subpoenaed documents from court battles involving Trinity’s ET-Plus on behalf of a grand jury.” On this news, shares of Trinity have fallen almost $3.00 per share, or over 8%, during intraday trading, on unusually high volume.

If you purchased shares of Trinity prior to April 22, 2015, have information or would like to learn more about these claims, or have any questions concerning this announcement or your rights or interests with respect to these matters, please contact Lesley Portnoy, of Glancy Binkow & Goldberg LLP, 1925 Century Park East, Suite 2100, Los Angeles, California 90067 at 310-201-9150, Toll-Free at 888-773-9224, by email to shareholders@glancylaw.com, or visit our website at http://www.glancylaw.com.
