Total Buy Stakes In 3 Indonesia Offshore Blocks From Talisman

PARIS -(Dow Jones)- French oil company Total SA (TOT) Thursday said it has acquired stakes in three deep-offshore exploration blocks in Indonesia from Canada-based oil firm Talisman Energy Inc. (TLM) for an undisclosed amount. Total will own a 50% stake in the first block in a partnership with Talisman, which will own the remaining 50%. The French oil company bought 35% stake and 20% in two other blocks, where it teams up with Talisman and PTTEP PCL (PTTEP.TH), Total said in a statement.
