has been awarded a four-year contract by the U.S. Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) to help it modernize communications in
support of improved collection, validation and processing of claims
for disaster survivors.
Under terms of the agreement, AT&T* will provide FEMA
interactive voice response capabilities and contact center services
that scale to accommodate surging traffic volumes during disasters.
AT&T teamed with Interactive Intelligence as subcontractor to
provide FEMA this highly-secure, state of the art, software-based
solution.
FEMA awarded the contract to AT&T under the General Services
Administration's Networx Universal contracting program for
telecommunications services.
