SAN DIEGO, Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego Gas
& Electric (SDG&E) today announced that Emily Shults, currently director of construction
services has been named vice president of electric & fuel
procurement for SDG&E.
Shults, who will report to Scott
Drury, SDG&E's chief energy supply officer, will be
responsible for all aspects of acquiring energy and capacity to
serve SDG&E's customers. This includes long-term contracting
for the company to reach its renewable portfolio standard goals, as
well as procurement of conventional resources.

Over the past 13 years, Shults has held numerous management
positions for Sempra Energy. Prior to joining Sempra Energy, Shults
worked with the John Zink Company, Williams Energy Marketing &
Trading and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Shults holds a bachelor's
degree in accounting from the University of
Tulsa.
