PARIS--French pharmaceutical company Sanofi SA (SNY) said
Tuesday it plans to cut 600 jobs in France over the next three
years as part of its ongoing restructuring plans.
The company said it had no plans to shut down manufacturing
sites or cut research and development staff in the country.
The Paris-based drug maker said in November that it planned to
reorganize its business around five global divisions--emerging
markets, biotech, diabetes and cardiovascular, vaccines and animal
health.
