By Greg Bensinger Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- AT&T Inc. (T) on Monday introduced three new devices from Samsung Electronics Co. (005930.SE, SSNHY), two from Pantech and Sony Corp.'s (6758.TO, SNE) first fourth-generation smartphone. Sony's Xperia ion will go on sale in the U.S. in this year's second quarter, AT&T said at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It will run on Google Inc.'s (GOOG) Android software and features a 4.6-inch high-definition screen. From Samsung, AT&T will sell a high-definition version of its 4G-enabled Galaxy S II Skyrocket, as well as the Note, a tablet-like device that functions with a stylus. The devices, which include the Exhilarate made from recycled materials, will go on sale later this year. The prices for the Sony and Samsung products were not immediately available. Pantech will offer its first 4G devices, including the Element tablet and Burst smartphone. The devices are set to go on sale Jan. 22, AT&T said. The tablet will be priced under $300, and the smartphone will be under $50. For a limited time, customers may buy both on contract for $249.99. -By Greg Bensinger, Dow Jones Newswires; 212-416-4676; greg.bensinger@dowjones.com
