Stan Celich, Leader, National Accounts Distribution, Sun Life Financial U.S.

He will lead Sun Life's U.S. National Accounts sales team, which specializes in meeting the distinct benefits needs of larger companies, and will also oversee strategic distribution alliances. The creation of this role reflects Sun Life's continued investments in solutions for larger employers, including dedicated sales and service resources, comprehensive disability and absence management capabilities as expressed at the Sun Life Center for Healthy Work, and advanced tools in data analytics, enrollment, administration and reporting.

In addition, Stan's appointment reinforces Sun Life's disciplined approach for each market segment. His position complements the Head of Field Sales role assumed by Marc Warrington following the recent acquisition of Assurant Employee Benefits, which specializes in small- and mid-size accounts.

"Adding Stan to our sales leadership team advances our goals to excel in serving U.S. employers of all sizes and to be a carrier of choice for benefits brokers and consultants," said Kevin Krzeminski, Senior Vice President, U.S. Distribution, Sun Life Financial U.S. "Stan's understanding of the complexities involved with customizing and supporting benefits plans for large businesses coupled with Sun Life's comprehensive mix of products and ongoing investment in National Accounts will help multiply our success in this important market segment."

He most recently served as Vice President, Central Region for Liberty Mutual Insurance with a focus on group life, disability and absence management products, and also gained sales and sales management experience at MetLife.

Stan is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member of the Municipal Authority of Robinson Township in Pittsburgh, PA and has served as Chairman of the Robinson Township Civil Service Board.
