WARREN, N.J., Nov. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AdvantEdge
Healthcare Solutions today announced participation in
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, organized each year by the
Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and Health Care
Compliance Association. Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week
is November 6 through 12, 2016. As a
part of its efforts, AdvantEdge has planned a series of events
to celebrate and reinforce compliance awareness for team members
company-wide. The events planned include daily contests, email
quizzes, knowledge and inspiration email blasts, scenario
challenges and site-specific lunch and learn activities.
"We take compliance seriously every day at AdvantEdge," said
David Langsam, AdvantEdge President
& CEO. "Participating in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week
underscores our commitment to privacy and security, which is a key
part of the AdvantEdge Promise to each customer."
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is an extension of
AdvantEdge's ongoing compliance and ethics program, led by
Jeanne Gilreath, CCO & Senior
Vice President. AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions' code of
conduct requires that all employees must follow the AdvantEdge
compliance standards, ethics expectations, and
requirements.
"The code calls on employees to personally 'Do the Right Thing'
every day," according to Ms. Gilreath. "Corporate Compliance and
Ethics Week reinforces those standards and complements our annual
company-wide compliance and ethics education."
The company's formal compliance education, training and testing
across multiple disciplines and compliance related areas (such as
HIPAA, Coding, HITECH, workplace harassment, etc.) is conducted
annually. Throughout the year, AdvantEdge rolls out new and updated
compliance and ethics policies and programs that reinforce as well
as remind employees of their compliance and ethics' obligations and
ensure they understand the high expectations we have established in
this regard.
"Last year's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week was an
overwhelming success and many employees encouraged us to continue
and expand the week's focus and activities," according to Ms.
Gilreath. "We have programs and exercises designed to encourage
even more participation this year. It will be both fun and
educational."
