October 13 2016 - 10:36PM
Business Wire
Effective today through October 15, 2016, Sprint (NYSE:S) is
waiving all international call and SMS charges for Sprint, Boost
and Virgin Mobile customers in the U.S. reaching those in Bermuda
following the impact of Hurricane Nicole. Charges for calls to
Bermuda will be automatically credited during the time
specified.
Customers are encouraged to use text messaging when possible due
to high call volumes and possible network congestion in the local
area.
“Our thoughts are with the people of Bermuda,” said Marcelo
Claure, Sprint president and CEO. “We know how important
communication is at a time like this, and we’re here to help our
customers stay connected with their loved ones.”
