Effective July 8, through July 14, 2016, Sprint (NYSE:S) is waiving charges for international calls and SMS to Taiwan for all Sprint, Boost and Virgin Mobile customers and international roaming voice and SMS charges while in Taiwan for all Sprint customers in the wake of Typhoon Nepartak.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Taiwan,” said Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure. “As always, we want to do everything possible to show support for those impacted and their loved ones here in the US by allowing them to stay in contact without incurring fees.”
